Description
Santo Domingo Turquoise & Coral Heishi Necklace
Pueblo Santo Domingo three-strand Turquoise and Coral Heishi necklace, Circa 1950, from an estate in Northern New Mexico
The brilliant color of the Turquoise is exceptional, as is the color of the old Coral that has been woven into the design. The cut of the Turquoise heishi beads is perfect. It is the most exceptional necklace of this style that we have ever seen. Comes with a monograph on the history of Turquoise and current market conditions and a monograph on the history of Coral in Indian trade.
