This charming bag pays homage to Sioux and Crow Indian beadwork of the 1800s. The Native American on horseback is a rich symbol in Plains Indian art and culture. The length of the long strap is 42". The beaded body of the bag is 8-3/4" long and 6-1/2" wide. The fringe is 15" long. The bag is embellished with tin cones and two chicken bones. The back side is not beaded. It is lined with flowered calico material from the 1920s.
