Navaho Squash Blossom Necklace, Circa 1960

From an estate in Aspen, Colorado

The necklace is 38" and strung with 9mm hand-made sterling silver melon beads. The Naja pendant measures 4" long and 3" wide. It is natural color Turquoise from the Kingman, Arizona mine. Each of the twelve side Squash blossoms (six on each side) measure 2-1/2" long. The Turquoise stone in each Squashblossom measures 1-1/2" long X 3/4" wide. Comes with a monograph on the history of Turquoise and current market conditions.
