These earrings, dating to the 1940s, came out of an estate in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They are Sterling Silver and Turquoise, measuring 3" long and 1-1/2" wide. The Navajos learned silversmithing from the Mexicans and Spaniards around 1870 and made the first conchos by hammering out a Mexican dollar. Very few earrings survive from this period. Price: $800.00
