Cheyenne Doll, Circa 1920
The doll is made of brain-tanned deerskin, glass beads, brass, wood, and horsehair. She comes from the collection of an elderly Zuni Indian silversmith who traded her Turquoise jewelry for it in Wyoming about forty years ago. A similar doll from this period sold at auction last year for over $8,000.00. Doll measures 12 1/2" in length and 6 1/2" wide.
