We recently located these strands of #8 Spiderweb and were delighted by their brilliant color and size. Now that Turquoise is disappearing, it's difficult to find any beads larger than 8mm. The sheer size of these beads makes them hugely collectable. In 1960, the legendary #8 mine in Nevada stopped production because it was completely mined out. A few of the old time traders sill have some rough, but it's getting pricier. In Native American culture, #8 is the most desired of all the Turquoise mined in the Southwest.
